Headwalls

Kijlstra produces a range of standard and fully customised headwalls which can be made to specific client requirements. All headwalls can be connected to a wide range of pipework such as clay, concrete and plastics. Also, various types of flow control devices such as flap valves, penstocks, tilting weirs, static weirs and hydrobrakes can be fitted at the factory to make on-site installation quicker, safer and easier.

Standard headwalls come in three different types, as outlined below. The variations are in height, pipe connection size and size and slope of wing wall.
